Every morning does not have to be battle that ends in a fight! Most girls wake up with their beautiful curls looking a disheveled, hot mess that you might be embarrassed about her leaving the house. There is no need to fight her by trying to hair dry brush her hair and making her cry while pulling it back. You have tried everything and nothing is making it better — including her confidence.
You've probably watched the tutorials. Bought the products people recommended. Maybe you even tried cutting it all off, but nothing has worked.
There is a much easier solution!
Sometimes less is more. The Frizz Girls want to help you and your daughter with easy, simple routines that will give your daughter the curls you both always wanted, and the confidence in herself to take care of her hair on her own. We've made it easy with books for beginners and products to protect her hair throughout the night.
Now it's time to start her curl confidence journey.
"I had to support a fellow curly-haired Stacy!! This is a sweet, positive book that encourages children to love their curls and celebrate what makes them special."

I Found My Curl Confidence...
When I learned how to take care and love my wavy hair after finding the right products, styling methods and a routine as an adult. I grew up without role models for me to look up to with my hair texture, and very few product selections available.
My mom never taught how to take care and love my wavy hair. My parents worked for Vidal Sassoon and used to get their hair cut at the salon in Beverly Hills, CA, and my brother and I would go with them. Not once did my mom ask a stylist for help. When my mom got tired of taking care of my hair, she decided that cutting it would be easier. Afterwards, I hated my hair because I didn't feel like myself, and I had no self-confidence. I felt like I looked like a boy.
There we no children's books on hair care when I was growing up.
So, I wrote and illustrated a book on my experience, Stacy Learns to Love Her Wavy Hair, and You Can Too! and several other books in The Frizz Girls series for girls like myself. I wanted them to have role models they could look up to, and books to read on hair care for natural hair textures.
My dream is for girls and women to find curl confidence in themselves, and their hair.
